Why are we here?
To give insight into what our students and teachers are doing throughout our district. To showcase the awesome things happening across all of our school.
The town of Scarsdale is comprised of a single school district with 5 elementary schools, 1 middle school, and 1 high school. 7 unique learning environments made up of diverse learners and thinkers. 7 school creating and innovating in distinctive ways. 7 schools full of people doing awesome things.
This site is a sampling of the projects being done throughout the district, not a sum total of everything being done. All schools have independent sites sharing even more to their individual communities. This site is designed to cull together a sampling of how technology is used across all the buildings. The contributors to this site are the school-based technologists doing far more than can be simple posted here.
ScarsdaleTech is here to serve as a jumping off point for inspiration, allowing colleagues to see what's happening in other buildings, for students to keep up with their former schools as they advance grades, and for parents to have a common understanding of our technology approach.
We want to give the world an overall sense of how technology is used, what students are learning, and most importantly how students are creating their own voice.
Why are we here? To share with the world all the awesome within Scarsdale.
